This is my first post on the first day of the conference. But first, last night, it was an acoustic performance by three guys. Rob Williams from Waitsfiied VT was the mc and opening act for Joe Jencks of Seattle and Casey Neill from Brooklyn and Portland. It was an old fashioned folk fest from the sixties. Casey Neill has a Bob Dylan-like voice with a lot more ironic humor. Joe Jencks brought a tear to my eye with his memories of family. A great time was had by all.
